Every colors represents the age of the note
Yes, by using a comma to separate each user.
When searching for the author of a note, it will try to find notes that were opened by any of the given users.
When searching for the users of a note, it will try to find notes that all of the given users commented on.
Yes, by writing either NOT or - in front of the user to exclude.
It is also possible to exclude multiple users by separating each user with a comma.
All notes are synchronized every 5 minutes with the OpenStreetMap API.
It can happen that notes or comments which have been hidden by the moderators still appear in the results.
This is mainly due to the fact that the underlying API of OpenStreetMap does not directly offer the possibility to know which notes and comments have been hidden by moderators.
As a result, the complete daily notes dump is analyzed from time to time in irregular intervals in order to find and fix these anomalies.
If you want to know the last time the manual synchronization was performed, take a look at the
status page with regard to the value of last_import (for comments) or last_sync (for notes).
To prevent excessive use of backend server resources, a certain limit on the maximum number of hidden notes and notes on the watchlist is enforced. Once this limit is reached, it will be no longer possible for you to hide notes or add them to your watchlist.
You can prevent this by removing potentially old and forgotten entries from your watchlist or directly reset your choice of hidden notes and all notes on the watchlist below:

It has been requested for quite a long time and now it is finally here!
The search functionality has been extended from single-term matching
to a versatile Boolean query language supporting both logical operators and phrase searches with these features:
StreetComplete AND housenumber returns all notes that contain both terms,
the AND operator can even be omitted since this is always the implicit default"Organic Maps" OR CoMaps returns all notes that contain either of the two terms
(notice the quotation marks around the first term, otherwise the first term would be interpreted as Organic AND Maps)StreetComplete -"Attached photo" returns all notes with the first term in them but without the second
If you are logged in with your OpenStreetMap account, you might have already noticed two new icons appearing in the corner of each note.
With one of them you can now add up to 500 notes to your personal watchlist. This might be helpful in cases where you want to come back later
to a note because it is currently not solvable given the available information.
At some point in the future, there might be automatic email notifications when someone comments on notes that are on your watchlist.
Until then, you can simply adapt the filter to only include notes that are on your watchlist to view all of them and check if anything changed.
The last new big feature that is worth mentioning is that you are now able to block up to 500 notes.
All notes on your personal blocklist are blocked from all searches and will not appear in any following query.
If you accidentally hide a note, you will have a few seconds to undo it, otherwise you can reset your complete blocklist
(and watchlist as well) in the help section.
